i'm a failure :(



In my defense, I've been a bit sad and I woke up kinda late today, plus I didn't set the clocks forward like I ususally do when I plan to sleep late

Anyway, i'm thinking of turning off my ID, On and 4u for now cuz I've been really liking my connections recently. Also gonna keep my angel going until his time comes too

However I did get all of Kuchipatchi's tamatomo items, all I need to do there is wait a while for him to get his fourth :D I might turn my ID on later though, I *do* really like the characters and simplicity :) Might also run another tama I haven't in a while after my connections (maybe my smart or my pix? havent run the smart in 3 ish years, thats the longest out of my entire collection i think)

Forgot to write an entry yesterday cuz of a few things i had going on ^_^" Oh well, guess this one will be extra long lol

So starting with yesterday, I finally bought Kuromametchi's last tamatomo item!! Got his last tamatomo mark this morning, too! Yay!! My gosh that took forever, I guess I just haven't taken the time to sit down and play with my tamagotchis as much ^_^" I'm still taking care of them though which is definitely an upgrade from a year ago!! :D



I woke up early yesterday but I was kinda sad that morning and the nap i took then combined with the day I woke up at 2 pm and all the snacks I fed him... I got kuchipatchi ^_^" He also immediately evolved into Kuchipatchin
He's adorable but at the same time feels like a trophy of my (minor) failure ;u; that's okay tho, I'll just get his skills really quick and marry him off. Miiight go for Himespetchi or Melodytchi next gen, I haven't decided
I think I got him though because I depended on snacks a lot for his happiness which I didn't do last gen, whoops



The best thing that happened yesterday was on my connections--they evolved into Hinatchi and Hikotchi!!!! Super excited--I'm gonna hope for ChoMametchi and Mimitchi when they evolve, I'm so excited >w<
Also I find it pretty cool that their names kinda match cuz theyre twins hehe



Alright, now we can get to todays. Not much has happened (yet) but my Angel became an adult--he evolved into chubby angel!! Honestly i'm really happy cuz he's adorable and his animations are really stupid (in teh most affectionate way possible)

Nooooo pride month's over I can't be gay (bi) anymore 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 /j

Yeah um- i started another 😭 in my defense tho! I haven't had this much motivation or time to run them in ages cuz of school and my lack of medication for my ADHD, cuz before I'd run them for a while and it'd be fine and then later on taking care of them daily would become a chore, I'm genuinely so glad that's no longer an issue for me <:) Also i feel like running a bunch of them cuz the upcoming Paradise release has given me major Tamagotchi Fever xD

Anyway, since I'm running my 2 RV3s i decided to run my ketai!! I don't run it too often so I thought it'd be cool :>




Speaking of my v3s their parents left this morning and left me with 2 boys I named Lemon and [other name I cant say cuz its a friend's oc xD]! Although I forgot what the male baby tamas looked like vs the female ones and gave them feminine names ;-; oh well, the adults are the same either way (gahhhh forgot to take pics, I'll take them in the next entry ^_^")

My angel evolved into Tako-ten this morning! I've intentionally been giving it a good amount of care misses so I end up with a different character, but I didn't mean to go this far ^_^" Oh well, hes honestly cuter than the good care teen xD




Other than that, not too much is new. Although i woke up super late this morning (like 2 pm xP) and got a buncha care misses (which is probably why I got Tako-ten on my angel xD), idk if I can get Mametchi on my 4u now :( Gonna keep my hopes up tho <:3
However I *did* switch out the case on my ID for this one I made a year and a half ish back and really liked at the time, it's got its flaws but I love the yarn i used :)

A buncha stuff happened today

First of all MY ANGELS LEFT ME NOOOOOO 😭 they lived a long happy life... rip ;u;
It's kinda odd tho- theyre already dead so where do they go?? is it like the second death thing in Coco where theyre just gone?? or do they just not wanna spend time with me?? Actually theres probably some lore to do with that im gonna look that up later

Update: According to the wiki I was very wrong--while it's in your care it's on earth, and their farewell is when they finally ascend to the heavens. Cool :D

Well anyway I've got a toddler at the moment, the toddler stage is the same so I got lazy and didn't take a photo ^_^"



Second of all my ID evolved into Kuromametchi last night!!!!!!!! I'm super excited hes one of my favorites xD Also I was worried i got too many care misses and would end up with Gozarutchi AGAIN but nope!! :D



Also decided to turn him red and green later on lol, it cost me 860 gotchi and I accidentally reversed it just a few hours later but it *did* look kinda cool :> (although i kinda regret it now cuz his last tamatomo item, the headphones, cost 3500 gotchi 😭)



On my 4u I finally decided to marry off Lovelitchi :D I let her happiness get too low so she turned into chubby lovelitchi tho ^_^" but honestly shes freaking adorable and i love her xD
Honestly I love the 4u so much, I forgot how cute the marriage cutscene is. The marrige itself is cool but if you get all their tamatomo clover petals it shows this really cool movie-like animation of thier entire life and its so cute >w<




After Lovelitchi left for good I got a baby boy! Decided to go for Mametchi so I splurged and changed the interior :>



Finally... sighhh i started another tama xD This one I have a reason for tho! I've been working off and on on making my main oc Lemontchi a custom Meets/On character and I wanted to do some testing, it's been a very difficult process but I think I'm starting to finalize her!
I currently only have the body done, I think it needs a few tweaks with the smaller sprites but so far it looks good!!

Okay so I'm kinda stupid 😭 i thought you had to play with the items a kazillion times to get skills but I guess I got the rest of them super fast xD the cooking skill only took like 4 lessons 🙃
Anyway, she got all of her skills and now she's Lovely Fire!! :D



Meanwhile my ID is just fine, got Kilalatchi and a care miss or two this morning (i hope i set the time right and it was less than 3 ;u;) so I'm on the right track to get Kuromametchi :> Also played a buncha minigames this morning and last night and changed my room... again. I bought the aquarium room before for 1500 gotchi and didn't like how it looked cuz all I saw was that little preview ;u; sighhhh
At least the new one looks good ^-^



Nothing new from my Angel, but I fiiiiinally was able to marry my Connections! Got 2 girls, hoping I can take really good care of them and get some tier 1 characters ^u^

Hiiii :D A few new thingies happened today and yesterday cuz I didn't write one then ^_^" (not cuz i forgot or anything but to be honest i got kinda lazy xD)

Anyway I got the twin angels yesterday!! They're really cute :>
When they're happy tho (forgot to take a pic) i cant help but think they look like baby birds with the way one of them sticks its head out and opens its mouth super wide 😭



I've still been working towards getting Lovelitchi's skills on the 4u, but I did get her 4th tamatomo clover petal today!! :D

I took a video of this but I haven't gotten the chance to edit it and post it, but I married off my ID today too! I got a boy so im gonna go for either Kuromametchi or Mametchi since I already have the tamatomos of both Gozarutchi and Kuchipatchi. Also spent a buncha money id been saving on some photos but it was worth it cuz they were adorable xD (ill probably take pics of them tomorrow i cant rn xP)

And then tonight, since I thought I could handle a couple more I wanted to run my Connections and take care of my free time to go for the harder to get characters on there (cuz the best I could ever do was a tier 2 character--my current Kuchipatchi named Lin)
I took the best care of them I could with school and whatnot and ended up with Lin the Kuchipatchi and a Mimiyoritchi who's named after another OC I won't name :3c

Hellooooo :D Didn't write an entry yesterday (got a kitty!!!!!!!! yippee!!!!!!!!) but a thing or two did happen today

No new evolutions or anything, but I've been playing with my 4u a bunch--Lovelitchi got the Art skill at DoriTamagotchi School (which took me a while cuz i didn't realize i needed the study kit so i kept having her play with the clay set thingie until i realized that which i had to play a buncha games to save money for ;u;) and later on I'm gonna play some more games to get some more items to unlock the other skills cuz I drained all of it trying to get her TamaTomo badges. Also been playing a buncha games on my ID cuz I wanna save up to use the photo studio--i doubt I'll be able to get another Lovelitchi as easily as I did this time after summer break lol

Hiii!! i have a buncha new stuff to share :D

First of all, my angel evolved into Chestnut Angel yesterday!!! Cuz i think i only let the Effort bar get to zero once cuz i got lazy and didn't play the game, other than that i never let them hit 0 :3c
Also i made it (and my ID) cases today! yippee!






Second of all, I got Lovelitchi on my 4u aaaaaaaa!!! She's so cute i love her (so much that i decided to get her on 2 devices at the same time xD)

Hello!!!! this is kind of a placeholder cuz idk what im gonna do for the main journal thingie layout yet but I wanted to get some stuff down
Also- i think faster than I type so im probably gonna come back and edit this to be more readable- sorrgy xD

Started up another tamagotchi today: my 4u! I thought that cuz I had all this time on my hands cuz of summer I'd run some tamas with some characters that take a bit more effort to get, and the 4u is one of those--also I just haven't run it in a while

I thought I'd make a case for it later or something but i remembered I had this blue fluffy case with me that happened to go super well with the Aikatsu faceplate I had on there and oh my gosh its adorable 😭



I'm still running my ID, Lovelitchi is doing well :D I looked it up and today's Uwasatchi's birthday so my normal wallpaper got replaced with this one



It's not as cute as my normal one but oh well ;u;



Also- the angel i got yesterday!!! It's been doing well- and maybe this is just me being new to it but i love this tama so much oh my gosh 🥹 its everything good about the p1 and p2 but better and cuter and GAH xD cuz first and formost, the sounds are lovely , its still the kinda watch-like beeping of the vintage era but its so much quieter and it's at a really nice pitch, at least for the rereleases (i know theyre at a different pitch than the original for some reason). The p1 and p2 rereleases would sometimes get so loud they would sound really scratchy- it was awful 😭

Secondly- I love the kinda unique charm the pre-connection tamas have. They're so simple but unique; they're never too overwhelming with gimmicks and such but they're never easy to care for. I love modern tamas but i can really appreciate the simplicity of the pre-color tamas--and heck, even ones like the ID


Side tangent I just thought of on the spot- I've begun to realize what the divide between new and old tamas is... the new ones are so filled with gimmicks and features and such xD
On the newer ones--especially the really gimmicky ones like the uni and pix--i find myself using the extra features a lot at first but then reverting back to the basic "feed clean play sleep cycle". To be honest thats why i love the tamas like the 4u that have specific requirements to get certain characters; it gives you a reason to use those gimmicks and stuff and I like that :) And heck- even the Pix has something like that with the job thingies
And then theres stuff like the vintages and the connections where theres a buncha different characters and the good ones are hard/really hard to obtain, it can get really difficult but it keeps you playing for longer xD (although i have admittedly gotten pretty upset cuz i thought i was ontrack for a tier 1 character but ended up with a tier 3 character on my v3s ;u;)

Don't get me wrong tho, I love all of them so much (at least the ones ive played), no matter how many bells and whistles they have. I don't think there is a single tama i dislike (aside from specific things from some devices, like the difficulty of some tamas or the touchscreen on the smart). Cuz no matter how often i use them, the extra stuff on modern tamagotchis is really cool, and sometimes i love to turn them on and mess around with them cuz they're really fun when i have the time and energy for them :)
And really, at the same time, I love the tamas that have those extra things but they aren't really a requirement--like I can use them if I want to but its not a requirement to get good characters

Theres probably others that are a lot like this, but I think the ID is a pretty good example. Sure, the character list is small, but they're all adorable, and once you get them you can fill the (pretty easy) requirements to get their tamatomo stamp. It's optional, but it makes it fun and gives you a reason to come back and keep getting different characters

More than anything, i like that there's a lot of different tamas out there right now; even the ones currently in production are a nice variety--if you like ones with a lot of gimmicks, theres the uni and later on the Paradise. If you like the simple ones, theres the Nanos and the Connections and the Angel rerelease. If you want a really simple one, theres the P1/2 and a bunch of really simple nanos out there.


Anyway, back to talking about my tamas, the shell on my angel is also absolutely adorable. It's probably one of the cutest tamas I own; as much as i dislike the low quality printing on the rereleases, the design makes it easy to ignore at least :>
